In Memory of Cinematographer Haskell Wexler

Haskell Wexler, 1922 – 2015

Our condolences to my friend and fellow Sound Mixer, Jeff Wexler and family, and, indeed, the entire film industry, with the passing of his father, Haskell Wexler, Sunday, December 27th.

Knowing a bit about Mr. Wexler’s life and career, it is easy to see the origin of Jeff’s devotion to excellence in our craft. The times I met him with Jeff, he was always a gentleman, polite and sincere, clearly as proud of his son as Jeff was of his father.
