Description
The Maha Powerex C9000Pro is the all new and improved version of the MH-9000. This professional Charger-Analyzer now features a large backlit display with ON/OFF function, battery slot memory functions, simplified setup process and is much smaller than the previous iteration.
The charger features 4 independent charging slots for either AA or AAA NiMH/NiCD rechargeable batteries. These slots can be configured individually, and due to the easy setup its settings can be copied to every other slot on the device. In addition to this, the memory of the C9000Pro will remember the last used settings for each of the slots. A user could for example charge one battery in one hour and slowly discharge two other batteries at the same time. Each independent slots is also designed on the basis of the very accurate -ΔV charging process.
The C9000Pro utilizes 4 unique programs which can be used to charge, refresh, and analyse rechargeable batteries. The advanced analyzing and conditioning programs can be used to detect internally damaged or ill conditioned batteries, which can not be detected by normal battery chargers. These problems can greatly reduce the runtime of a set of multiple batteries. Often, these battery problems can be refreshed using program 2 or 3.
Program 1: Charge
The charging current can be programmed by the user between 0.2 and 2.0 Ampere. At 2.0 Ampere batteries will be charged within approximately one hour.
Batteries won’t be overcharged because of the -ΔV process and the independent channels. Maximum battery life.
Program 2: Refresh / Analyze
First recharges the battery, rest for one hour, discharge, rest, then recharges again. Charging and discharging rates are programmable.
Reports the discharge capacity at the end of the cycle.
Useful when the battery capacity needs to be determined. Also useful for batteries with degraded performance.
Program 3: Break-In (IEC capacity analysis)
Will determine the batteries capacity very accurately following the official IEC standard.
Recommended to form brand-new batteries. This process activates the battery.
Program 4: Discharge
Discharges the battery at the selected rate.
