Lectrosonics Quadra (IEM) Wireless review

I also heard that the Quadra is compatible with the D4. So for those of us who already have the D4 system, these Quadra receivers will be a great add-on.
A couple more ideas off the top of my head:
Your camera hop wireless TX (D4T) can now also be your IFB wireless TX in a bag system, saving one more piece of gear to carry in your bag.
Script assist can use a Quadra RX to receive audio on one channel (for monitoring) and timecode on another channel for automated timecode logging software. (special purpose splitter cable would be needed)
Small suggestion to Lectro: use the more rugged RX antennas from the Quadra system, on the RX antennas for the D4 system, please.
Glen, thank you for the informative and detailed review. One comment I'd like to add is that the D4 system and the M4 system (Quadra) will soon be cross-compatible. This way, the D4T can act as the portable, DC-powered transmitter for the Quadra receiver.
What needs to be done on our end is new firmware for the D4 system. This firmware will be downloadable from our web site. The D4 system is field-up-datable via USB. We'll announce when it is available.
Because of this, we don't have plans to make the M4T (Quadra transmitter) with a DC power connector. The D4T is much lighter and smaller, and already has the DC jack.
One final comment: we already had tamed the LEDs on the front panel of the receiver. The next production run has the dimmer lights.
